Adelaide Deep Plate
This Adelaide deep plate by Driade translates Xie Dong’s crumpled ceramic language into a small tabletop piece.
Handmade in white bone china, its softly irregular surface and undulating edge give the plate a folded appearance. The recessed center distinguishes it from the flatter plates in the Adelaide collection while retaining the same sculpted character. Model code: DA541C7007002.

Xie Dong
Xie Dong is a Beijing-born artist and designer whose work explores materials, movement and the relationship between weight and lightness. Ceramic techniques are central to this practice, including methods that create rippled and pleated surfaces. Designs for Driade bring these experiments into functional objects linked to Chinese craft traditions.
