Adelaide Flat Plate
The Adelaide flat plate by Driade turns Xie Dong’s crumpled ceramic language into a broad tabletop piece.
Handmade in white bone china, its gently uneven edge and folded-looking surface give the plate a sculptural quality. The shallow form complements the deeper bowls and cups in a collection defined by irregular shapes and a restrained material palette. Model code: DA542C5007002.

Xie Dong
Xie Dong is a Beijing-born artist and designer whose work explores materials, movement and the relationship between weight and lightness. Ceramic techniques are central to this practice, including methods that create rippled and pleated surfaces. Designs for Driade bring these experiments into functional objects linked to Chinese craft traditions.
