Adelaide Tray
This Adelaide tray by Driade is a low white bone china piece designed by Xie Dong.
Its sculpted surface gives rigid ceramic the impression of folded material, extending the collection’s experimental forms into tableware. Handmade construction and an irregular edge bring texture to the tray without relying on printed decoration or contrasting materials. Model code: DA550C0007002.

Xie Dong
Xie Dong is a Beijing-born artist and designer whose work explores materials, movement and the relationship between weight and lightness. Ceramic techniques are central to this practice, including methods that create rippled and pleated surfaces. Designs for Driade bring these experiments into functional objects linked to Chinese craft traditions.
