Dining tables.
Sovet Italia Lewood includes dining tables by Gianluigi Landoni with wooden legs joined by aluminum crossbars.
Round, rectangular and differently contoured tops give the mixed-material base several proportions. Fixed versions range from compact square forms to elongated and asymmetric surfaces. Rectangular and shaped extending models add leaves at both ends. The timber supports remain visible beneath the selected top, with the exact shape and mechanism determining the table’s layout.
Gianluigi Landoni graduated in architecture from the Politecnico di Milano and cofounded the Amalgama design group in 1985. His experience includes Rodolfo Bonetto's studio and Progetica Design. With Rosaria Sofia Galli, he founded ALTROdesign, working across products, interiors and commercial projects.
