Sovet Italia Alika includes dining chairs, armchairs and lower lounge chairs with molded polyurethane-foam shells.
Upholstered seats rest on sculptural bases, with armless and integrated-arm forms changing the enclosure. Metal supports include selected swivel and automatic-return options, while separate four-star polyamide versions provide another base type. The lounge chair lowers and widens the shell, extending the same curved seating form from dining or meeting positions into a living area.
Studio Sovet is the manufacturer's internal design and development department. Its collaborative team combines product research with knowledge of glassmaking, craft and manufacturing. The department has developed furniture, mirrors, lighting and accessories across the Sovet collection.
