Sovet Italia Deod brings faceted metal bases to dining tables by Gianluigi Landoni, including the larger GranDeod designs.
The angular supports draw on rock formations in the Dolomites. Circular and elongated tops sit above single or paired bases, while GranDeod Shaped adds end extensions. Maxi stretches the composition to a 460 cm surface. Different shapes and materials retain the same interaction between broad tabletops and angled planes underneath.
Gianluigi Landoni graduated in architecture from the Politecnico di Milano and cofounded the Amalgama design group in 1985. His experience includes Rodolfo Bonetto's studio and Progetica Design. With Rosaria Sofia Galli, he founded ALTROdesign, working across products, interiors and commercial projects.
