Sovet Italia Regolo brings contrasting wood and glass elements to dining tables, coffee tables and consoles by Lievore Altherr Molina.
Smoked, clear and black-lacquered glass combine with wooden surfaces or supports in asymmetrical arrangements. Round, square and triangular coffee tables vary the upper shape, while dining formats use one or two sets of contrasting base elements. The material relationships remain visible beneath the tops, with each shape using its own pairing of supports.
Alberto Lievore, Jeannette Altherr and Manel Molina formed their Barcelona studio in 1991. Their work includes furniture, interiors, packaging, consulting and art direction. The studio combines product development with teaching and collaborations for manufacturers in Spain, Italy and the United States.
