Foscarini Mite / Tite connects Marc Sadler’s floor lamps and pendants through reinforced fiberglass construction.
Visible carbon or Kevlar thread gives the translucent bodies both structure and a fine linear pattern. Mite directs light upward from a tall tapering form, while Tite pendants send light downward through narrow or broader cones. Mite Anniversario adds a marble base and integrated LEDs. Sources, supports and reinforcing threads remain specific to each version.
Marc Sadler trained in industrial design in Paris, where his research focused on plastics. He has worked across product sectors, applying experimentation with materials and production technologies to his designs. An early project was a thermoplastic ski boot developed for industrial production by Caber.

We show Foscarini by appointment at both showrooms — Royal Oak on Woodward and Troy at the Michigan Design Center. Call ahead and we'll have samples and finishes pulled and waiting.
