Slide Design Kami includes low chairs, an armchair, a two-seat sofa and a coffee table by Marc Sadler.
Faceted polyethylene bodies translate origami folds into angular seating and supports. Fitted cushions are separate accessories, using rubber padding and removable acrylic covers for outdoor use. The Kami Ni table includes a satin-finished tempered-glass top, while selected luminous furniture versions introduce lighting within the folded forms.
Marc Sadler trained in industrial design in Paris, where his research focused on plastics. He has worked across product sectors, applying experimentation with materials and production technologies to his designs. An early project was a thermoplastic ski boot developed for industrial production by Caber.
