Outdoor lighting, pendants, ceiling lights and more.
Foscarini Twiggy includes Marc Sadler’s arc floor lamps, straight reading lamps, pendants, ceiling and table formats.
Composite structures carry broad shades, with counterweights adjusting height on selected arched versions. Wood models add oak or rosewood shades reinforced by bamboo rings. Dedicated Grid Outdoor lights use woven composite shades and exterior construction. Twice As Twiggy enlarges the design for greater scale. Mounting, controls and light sources follow the individual indoor, wood or outdoor version.
Marc Sadler trained in industrial design in Paris, where his research focused on plastics. He has worked across product sectors, applying experimentation with materials and production technologies to his designs. An early project was a thermoplastic ski boot developed for industrial production by Caber.
