Pendants and wall lights.
Foscarini Big Bang includes pendants and wall or ceiling lights by Vicente Garcia Jimenez and Enrico Franzolini.
Crossing translucent methacrylate panels form layered bursts around metal supports. The pendants provide downward and diffused illumination in several sizes, with integrated LED or bulb versions in the standard format. The mounted light uses six differently shaped panels to create reflected and diffused light close to the surface, retaining the same intersecting geometry.
Vicente Garcia Jimenez and Enrico Franzolini collaborated on Big Bang for Foscarini. Their lighting design uses intersecting planes to create a changing composition of light and shadow. Garcia Jimenez's product research and Franzolini's background in architecture and art inform the partnership.
