Foscarini Allegro brings together Atelier Oï’s open metal pendants and their smaller Allegretto counterparts.
Slender aluminum rods form the Assai, Ritmico and Vivace outlines, from flared rings to angular or waisted volumes. Metal frames hold the rods around downward and ceiling-reflected light. Allegro includes integrated LED and bulb versions, while Allegretto uses replaceable bulbs. The two scales retain the same fine-line construction while changing the size of the suspended composition.
Atelier Oï brings together Aurel Aebi, Armand Louis and Patrick Reymond. The studio works across architecture, interiors, product design and stage design, connecting different disciplines through experiments with materials. Its projects for Foscarini include Allegro and Allegretto, which use slender metal elements to shape lighting compositions.
