Pendants and table lamps.
Foscarini Buds includes table lamps and pendants by Rodolfo Dordoni with glossy blown-glass shades.
Three forms range from elongated to broad and compact, each using layered glass to soften the light. Table versions rest the shades on transparent PMMA cylinders, keeping the support visible beneath the glass volume. Pendants suspend the same rounded forms from fine cables. Integrated LEDs or replaceable bulbs are specified by version, with the table lamps using cable switches.
Rodolfo Dordoni worked in furniture, lighting and art direction for manufacturers including Cappellini, Foscarini, Flos and Driade. With Luca Zaniboni and Alessandro Acerbi, he founded Dordoni Architetti in Milan. The practice developed residential, commercial and exhibition interiors, including homes, showrooms, restaurants and hotels.

We show Foscarini by appointment at both showrooms — Royal Oak on Woodward and Troy at the Michigan Design Center. Call ahead and we'll have samples and finishes pulled and waiting.
