FontanaArte Equatore includes table, floor and pendant lamps by Gabriele and Oscar Buratti.
A metal band around the glass shade houses overlapping LED discs, sending light downward and upward into the cap. This arrangement leaves the glass form open while producing two directions of illumination. Table and floor versions carry the shade on slender stems and include dimmers; the suspended model uses its own specified dimming system.
Gabriele and Oscar Buratti are architects who work together through Buratti Architetti. Their practice ranges from buildings and residential interiors to retail spaces, furniture and lighting. They also design exhibitions and showrooms, connecting architectural planning with the development of individual objects and their materials.
