Connubia Band is a family of extending dining tables with wooden or metal perimeter legs.
A semi-automatic rotating mechanism guides the additional leaf into position on runners. Band Wood pairs ash legs with a ceramic top and matching extension, while Band Metal offers ceramic or melamine surfaces. The open-leg arrangement remains at the edges of the rectangular top, with different sizes and base materials carrying the same extension concept.
Archirivolto was founded by Claudio Dondoli and Marco Pocci in Colle di Val d’Elsa in 1983. The practice began with architecture and interiors before developing an industrial design focus. Its work includes chairs, stools, sofas and office seating, with research into materials and manufacturing processes.
