Connubia New York includes dining chairs and counter stools with padded backs that curve into low arms.
An open gap separates the back from the seat. Sled-frame versions provide fixed seating, while a gas-lift stool adjusts in height and swivels through 360 degrees. Fabric, leather and faux-leather options vary the surface. NY Anniversary gives the chair fuller padding and more rounded proportions over wooden seat and back cores, preserving the same open wraparound form.
Calligaris Studio is credited with seating, tables and accessories in the Connubia collection. Its work includes the Argo chair, Siren seating, Planet table and Quadro folding table. The studio also shares the design credits for Air and Artic with Archirivolto and for New York seating with Lupo Design.
