Cappellini Tate includes dining chairs and stools by Jasper Morrison with shaped beech-plywood shells.
Color versions expose aniline-stained wood, Wood versions use veneer, and Soft adds foam beneath fixed fabric or leather. Four-leg, sled and selected adjustable five-spoke chair bases suit different uses, with writing tablets available on specified four-leg versions. Stools have two heights and high or low backs. Stackability depends on the base and, for upholstered chairs, the specified stacking version.
Jasper Morrison is a designer whose furniture work includes Emeco's Alfi, 1 Inch, Navy Lounge and Navy Officer collections. His collaboration with the manufacturer brings together material choices, engineering and detailed development. He also co-curated the Super Normal exhibition presented in Tokyo in 2006.
