Cappellini Bong is a side-table family by Giulio Cappellini shaped as a sphere with a flat circular top.
Fiberglass and resin form the hollow body, keeping the support and surface within one continuous outline. Indoor versions offer solid colors and printed or textured effects. Bong Lido adds an outdoor liquid coating for sheltered exterior settings. Both retain the 19 inch diameter and the same frame-free silhouette beside seating.
Giulio Cappellini is a Milanese architect, designer and art director. After studying architecture, he worked in his family's furniture company and collaborated with other design businesses. His practice combines product design with artistic direction, alongside teaching and lectures about furniture and contemporary design.
