Cappellini Pad brings together Jasper Morrison's Hi Pad chairs and stools with the lower Low Pad lounge armchair.
Shaped beech plywood and multi-density foam create closely upholstered seats above slender steel supports. Fixed fabric or leather follows the contoured edges. Hi Pad stools come in three fixed seat heights, while Low Pad offers two low lounge heights. The related designs change the seat's proportions and position without adding an adjustment mechanism.
Jasper Morrison is a designer whose furniture work includes Emeco's Alfi, 1 Inch, Navy Lounge and Navy Officer collections. His collaboration with the manufacturer brings together material choices, engineering and detailed development. He also co-curated the Super Normal exhibition presented in Tokyo in 2006.
