Calligaris Inès includes dining chairs and stools with separate rounded seat and back cushions inspired by 1950s seating.
Slender metal or wooden chair frames remain visible around the padded elements. A fixed counter stool raises the metal-frame form, while another version uses an adjustable pedestal with a footrest. The gap between seat and back preserves the open structure as the design moves from dining to counter-height arrangements.
Manuela Busetti, Andrea Garuti and Matteo Redaelli have worked together since 2008. Their practice develops products for residential and contract settings. The team studies changing patterns of use and explores both established and newer materials and technologies as part of its furniture design process.
