Calligaris Glen includes dining chairs and a counter stool with separate padded seats and broad curved backs.
Exposed wooden or metal chair frames contrast with the rounded upholstery. Glen Soft takes a different approach, extending fabric across the seat, back and supporting legs to create a continuous covered form. The counter stool raises the related seating shape on four supports linked by a circular footrest.
Gino Carollo began his design career in 1990 and established his own studio in 1999. His practice includes furniture, interiors, exhibitions and art direction. Product development and prototyping connect the studio's manufacturing collaborations with projects for showrooms and visual communication.
