Dining tables.
Calligaris Cameo by Gino Carollo / Studio 28 includes fixed and extending dining tables on central coated-metal columns.
Rounded base plates echo the outline of the oval or softened elongated tops. A solid-oak version adds a rounded edge and visible grain above the metal support. The extending model opens at the sides in stages, retaining the single pedestal and an outer seating edge without corner legs.
Gino Carollo began working in industrial design and art direction in 1990 and established Studio28 Gino Carollo in 1999. The practice develops furniture through design, models and prototypes. Its collaborations include Bontempi, with an approach informed by travel, cultural research and the requirements of industrial production.
