Calligaris Calla by Archirivolto Design includes fixed and extending dining tables with a flower-inspired central base.
Two interlocking metal blades open upward like petals, creating a chalice-shaped support. Oval and other softly outlined elongated tops provide different fixed formats, including solid-wood versions. Extending models enlarge the surface at the sides, with a glass-top variant exposing the base beneath it. The central structure leaves the outer seating edge free of corner legs.
Archirivolto was founded by Claudio Dondoli and Marco Pocci in Colle di Val d’Elsa in 1983. The practice began with architecture and interiors before developing an industrial design focus. Its work includes chairs, stools, sofas and office seating, with research into materials and manufacturing processes.
