Bookcases and shelving from the Italian houses that build whole walls: Tomasella and Lago modular systems, LaPalma and Cattelan Italia freestanding pieces, Mogg and Tonelli in metal and glass. Planned to your wall by our Metro Detroit studio and installed white-glove.
Bookcases & Shelving, by house.
Buying bookcases and shelving from Italcasa Design.
Can a shelving system be planned to fit my wall exactly?
Yes. The Tomasella and Lago systems are built from modules in several widths and depths, so a wall is filled to the inch, around windows, doors or a television. Send your wall measurements and our designers draw the composition and quote it as one piece.
Are the bookcases wall-mounted or freestanding?
Both kinds are here. Wall-hung systems float above the floor and need a solid wall or studs to fix to; freestanding bookcases stand on their own and most are supplied with an anti-tip fixing. The product page says which a piece is.
How is shelving delivered and installed?
White-glove to all 48 contiguous states, assembled in the room. Wall-hung systems are installed by our team in Metro Detroit and by our delivery partners elsewhere. Pieces are made to order and typically ship in 12–16 weeks.
