Pianca Esse by Philippe Tabet carries an S-shaped upholstered shell across dining chairs, armchairs and lounge seating.
Molded polyurethane forms the dining versions, with wood or metal legs and alternative covering constructions. Armchairs add integrated arms, while the wider lounge design offers solid walnut or ash legs or a fully upholstered base. Fabric, leather and synthetic-leather choices vary by model; fixed and removable covers are separate options where specified.
Philippe Tabet studied industrial design in Lyon and Paris before moving to Milan in 2011. He established his studio in 2014. His work focuses on materials and production processes, combining industrial design with experiments in craft methods and research into earlier objects and furniture.
