Pianca Peonia by Cristina Celestino includes armchairs and sofas with layered upholstery shaped around a petal-like shell.
Rounded arms and overlapping back volumes define the seating forms. Sofa modules include central, corner, end and peninsula elements, with matching ottomans extending the layout choices. The separate armchair uses a lacquered or upholstered plinth. Covering options vary by piece, carrying the family's curved forms across straight, modular and standalone seating arrangements.
Cristina Celestino graduated in architecture from IUAV in Venice in 2005 and established her Milan studio in 2013. Her work spans residential, hospitality and commercial interiors, product design and creative direction. Material research, geometry and references to design history inform her approach across these disciplines.
