Pianca Fushimi by Philippe Tabet includes a bed, benches, dining and lounge chairs, coffee tables and consoles.
Rounded wooden rails and shaped joints connect the different pieces. The bed and benches add padded surfaces, while dining and lounge chairs wrap hard-leather seats and backs around open timber frames. Coffee tables and narrow consoles offer several top materials. Wood species, covering construction and surface options depend on the individual design.
Philippe Tabet studied industrial design in Lyon and Paris before moving to Milan in 2011. He established his studio in 2014. His work focuses on materials and production processes, combining industrial design with experiments in craft methods and research into earlier objects and furniture.
