Marset Soho includes pendant, ceiling, floor and wall lights by Joan Gaspar inspired by market and café shades.
Rotation-molded polyethylene creates the broad outer body, while an opal methacrylate diffuser softens warm LED illumination. Several sizes change the scale of the suspended design. Dedicated exterior formats use treated supports and specified weather ratings, extending the same industrial outline to outdoor walls, standing positions and covered or exposed overhead installations.
Joan Gaspar studied industrial design in Barcelona and began working in lighting manufacturing in 1988. His collaboration with Marset started in 1996, covering product development and design direction. He opened his own Barcelona studio in 2002 and has taught materials and technology for industrial design.
