Marset Roc includes wall, ceiling and outdoor bollard lights by Joan Gaspar with rippled pressed-glass shades.
Aluminum structures support the irregular glass, while filters screen the LED source and control its direction. Mini, standard and Plus sizes adapt the rounded texture to different surfaces. The outdoor bollard places Roc Mini on a slender post with a downward filter. Power supplies, controls and weather suitability remain specific to each fixture.
Joan Gaspar studied industrial design in Barcelona and began working in lighting manufacturing in 1988. His collaboration with Marset started in 1996, covering product development and design direction. He opened his own Barcelona studio in 2002 and has taught materials and technology for industrial design.
