Marset Santorini includes pendant, wall, ceiling and floor arrangements by Sputnik Estudio inspired by fishing-boat lanterns.
Movable shades surround glass diffusers, allowing different balances of direct and reflected light. Indoor pendants add fabric-covered cables, while dedicated outdoor fittings use supports appropriate to exterior installation. Optional stands, brackets and garland accessories extend the lantern into different compositions. Mounting and control choices vary with the version, retaining the same rearrangeable shade system.
Sputnik Estudio is a Valencia design team comprising Majo Fernández, María de la O Reyna, María Salar and Borja Sepulcre. Its work brings together different design disciplines to develop useful everyday objects. The studio's research includes material choices and the possibilities of recycled materials.
