Marset Polo pairs table and floor lamps by Joan Gaspar with articulated aluminum structures.
Ball joints extend the arms and position directional LED heads over a work surface or beside seating. The table version folds into a compact arrangement when less reach is needed, while the floor model raises the same mechanism from a taller support. A rotary switch on the head provides on/off control within the adjustable construction.
Joan Gaspar studied industrial design in Barcelona and began working in lighting manufacturing in 1988. His collaboration with Marset started in 1996, covering product development and design direction. He opened his own Barcelona studio in 2002 and has taught materials and technology for industrial design.
