LaPalma Pass includes upholstered chairs by Hee Welling with curved backs flowing into integrated arms.
Molded foam covers the inner metal structure beneath fabric, leather or imitation leather. Sled, circular pedestal and aluminum star bases offer different supports, with mobile versions adding self-braking casters. Selected swivel models adjust the seat from 44 to 54 cm, while fixed-height chairs retain a 46 cm seat for meetings and shared lounge settings.
Hee Welling studied in Helsinki and at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, completing a master's degree in furniture design in 2003. He established his Copenhagen studio that year. His work includes furniture, interiors and industrial design for manufacturers such as HAY, Fredericia, Lammhults and LaPalma.
