LaPalma Seltz includes folding pedestal tables by Romano Marcato with round or square tops.
The surfaces flip upright through 90 degrees, allowing several tables to nest closely together between uses. Compact and larger tabletop formats come at seated or standing heights, supported by stainless-steel bases with adjustable feet. Wood-veneered or laminated plywood, HPL and lacquered MDF provide different surfaces within the same folding table system.
Romano Marcato trained in mechanical engineering and worked on precision production systems before founding LaPalma with his brother Dario in 1979. His work connects furniture design with product engineering and manufacturing. Designs for LaPalma include the Brunch and Panco tables, Wil stool and Aria chair.
