LaPalma Apta is Romano Marcato’s family of rectangular tables with thin tops raised slightly above aluminum frames.
Angular corner supports carry surfaces in several lengths, from smaller dining tables to nearly three-meter formats. Indoor versions offer wood or Fenix HPL tops, while the outdoor models use Fenix HPL and polyester powder-coated aluminum. The 74 cm height suits dining or shared work, with the open structure retaining space beneath the surface.
Romano Marcato trained in mechanical engineering and worked on precision production systems before founding LaPalma with his brother Dario in 1979. His work connects furniture design with product engineering and manufacturing. Designs for LaPalma include the Brunch and Panco tables, Wil stool and Aria chair.
