LaPalma Aria includes outdoor dining chairs, armchairs and bar stools by Romano Marcato.
Handwoven cord forms the seats and backs over slim stainless-steel frames. The dining versions use open legs with or without metal arms, while the taller stool adds a front footrest beneath its low back. All three forms stack for storage, bringing the same woven construction to outdoor tables, counters and terrace seating areas.
Romano Marcato trained in mechanical engineering and worked on precision production systems before founding LaPalma with his brother Dario in 1979. His work connects furniture design with product engineering and manufacturing. Designs for LaPalma include the Brunch and Panco tables, Wil stool and Aria chair.
