Cappellini Orgone includes fiberglass chaise lounges and a low table by Marc Newson, with flowing forms influenced by surfboards.
The chaise creates a continuous reclining surface without separate upholstery; the table extends a molded top into four legs around plywood reinforcement. Indoor, Lido and limited-edition chaise versions preserve the same long outline. Lido requires covered, shaded placement, while the table is expressly suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
Marc Newson is an Australian designer whose work spans furniture, transportation, technology and consumer products. His collaboration with Cappellini began in 1989 with designs including the Wooden Chair and Orgone collection. Later pieces include the Embryo Chair, Felt Chair, tables and accessories.
