Cappellini InOut is a sofa and bench family by Jean-Marie Massaud with a continuous molded fiberglass shell.
A metal insert reinforces the curved seating above a satin stainless-steel base, with glossy finishes emphasizing the uninterrupted surface. Indoor and Lido versions share the flowing profile in different lengths. InOut Lido is intended for covered outdoor areas away from direct sunlight, carrying the same shell-and-base relationship into sheltered exterior settings.
Jean-Marie Massaud graduated from ENSCI-Les Ateliers in Paris in 1990. His work spans architecture, furniture and objects, from individual commissions to industrial production. His practice considers the relationship between users, manufacturing and environmental concerns, with collaborations across furniture and other product sectors.
