Coffee tables and dining tables.
Calligaris Nogu includes fixed dining tables and a coffee table with overlapping wooden supports.
Intersecting volumes form curved openings beneath the tops, giving the bases a layered arrangement of solid surfaces and open spaces. Dining versions offer round, softly squared or elongated footprints. The low coffee table repeats the sculpted structure beneath a smaller softly squared surface, connecting the dining and living-room pieces through their visible woodwork.
Gabriele and Oscar Buratti are architects who work together through Buratti Architetti. Their practice ranges from buildings and residential interiors to retail spaces, furniture and lighting. They also design exhibitions and showrooms, connecting architectural planning with the development of individual objects and their materials.
