Armchairs and dining chairs.
Calligaris Mara includes a dining chair and swivel lounge chair by Busetti Garuti Redaelli.
Both use rounded upholstered backs that enclose the seat. The dining model exposes a wooden frame whose rear legs rise to support the backrest. The lounge chair broadens the padded body and adds two wooden inserts at the rear, with fabric or leather covering and a turning seat for movement within the living area.
Manuela Busetti, Andrea Garuti and Matteo Redaelli have worked together since 2008. Their practice develops products for residential and contract settings. The team studies changing patterns of use and explores both established and newer materials and technologies as part of its furniture design process.
