Dining chairs.
Calligaris Liberty includes armed and armless polypropylene chairs inspired by nineteenth-century Viennese café seating.
Molded curved forms reinterpret the rounded backs and open structures of those earlier chairs. Both versions suit indoor or outdoor use, stack up to four high and have replaceable floor-contact feet. The armed chair carries the back forward into integrated side supports, while the armless version keeps the seat open on either side.
Archirivolto was founded by Claudio Dondoli and Marco Pocci in Colle di Val d’Elsa in 1983. The practice began with architecture and interiors before developing an industrial design focus. Its work includes chairs, stools, sofas and office seating, with research into materials and manufacturing processes.
