Calligaris Anime includes upholstered dining chairs with rounded seats, padded backs and compact arm supports.
Fixed versions offer slender metal legs or exposed wooden bases beneath the same enclosing upper form. Separate swivel models add a turning seat on metal or wood supports. The choice of base changes the chair's material contrast and movement while preserving the curved shell and proportions used throughout the seating family.
Archirivolto was founded by Claudio Dondoli and Marco Pocci in Colle di Val d’Elsa in 1983. The practice began with architecture and interiors before developing an industrial design focus. Its work includes chairs, stools, sofas and office seating, with research into materials and manufacturing processes.
