Sovet Italia Quadro includes coffee tables, sofa-side tables and consoles by Lievore Altherr Molina.
Slender metal frames outline the tops, with mirrored, ceramic or glass surfaces according to the format. Coffee tables use square or rectangular proportions in multiple sizes and heights. The Sofa version offsets its support for closer placement to seating, while narrow consoles provide display surfaces. The open geometric frame connects the different functions.
Alberto Lievore, Jeannette Altherr and Manel Molina formed their Barcelona studio in 1991. Their work includes furniture, interiors, packaging, consulting and art direction. The studio combines product development with teaching and collaborations for manufacturers in Spain, Italy and the United States.
