Pendants, wall lights, floor lamps and more.
Mater Ray includes pendant, table, floor and wall lamps by PEDERJESSEN.
Each pairs a steel outer shade with an oak inner globe held in place by magnets. Repositioning the globe changes the direction of the light without replacing the shade. The pendant comes in different sizes, while the freestanding and wall-mounted forms take the same wood-and-metal construction into desk, lounge and wall-lighting positions.
Søren Pedersen and Lasse Jessen established PEDERJESSEN in 2015 after training as industrial design engineers at the University of Southern Denmark. The studio develops furniture and lighting. Its work combines research into materials and technologies with consideration of the complete product development process.
