Marset Tam Tam brings Fabien Dumas’s grouped aluminum shades to pendants, wall lights and floor lamps.
Opalescent methacrylate diffusers soften the light within each shade. Main pendant forms arrange adjustable satellite heads around a center, while linear versions spread four or six lights along a support. Wall and floor formats use smaller groups. Different color combinations distinguish the separate shades while maintaining the repeated rounded forms across the collection.
Fabien Dumas studied industrial design at the Berlin University of the Arts, graduating in 2003. Based in Berlin, he works with lighting manufacturers including Ingo Maurer, Marset and DARK. His early freelance projects also included work for the department stores KaDeWe and Galeries Lafayette.
