LaPalma Wing Tip combines a lounge chair and footstool by Anderssen & Voll.
The chair pairs a tall upholstered back with broad wing-like arms on an aluminum swivel base. An optional tilting mechanism changes the chair’s movement, while the separate footstool supports a rounded padded surface on a matching star-shaped base. Fabric, leather or imitation leather can cover the foam-padded forms, linking the two pieces within an indoor seating arrangement.
Torbjørn Anderssen and Espen Voll established Anderssen & Voll in Oslo in 2009 after co-founding Norway Says. Their work ranges from furniture, lighting and textiles to tableware and electronics. The studio collaborates with international manufacturers, including LaPalma, Muuto, Foscarini and Kvadrat, as well as Norwegian producers.
