LaPalma Toè includes low square and rectangular tables by Romano Marcato.
Curved square-section metal tubing forms an open frame beneath each HPL top. The rectangular table stands 30 cm high and the square version reaches 34 cm, allowing the two to overlap in a layered arrangement. Indoor versions use coated steel, while dedicated outdoor models use coated stainless steel with the same top shapes and height relationship.
Romano Marcato trained in mechanical engineering and worked on precision production systems before founding LaPalma with his brother Dario in 1979. His work connects furniture design with product engineering and manufacturing. Designs for LaPalma include the Brunch and Panco tables, Wil stool and Aria chair.
