LaPalma Lab includes mobile swivel stools by Karri Monni for workspaces and studios.
Padded circular seats come without backs, while other versions add a height-adjustable upholstered backrest. The five-caster aluminum bases support lower seat ranges of 47 to 60 cm or taller ranges of 65 to 78 cm. Taller models include circular footrests, and fabric, leather or imitation-leather coverings change the padded surfaces within the same mobile structure.
Karri Monni trained in furniture carpentry and later studied interior architecture and furniture design at Finland's Lahti Institute of Design. He started his own studio in 1999 and has designed for LaPalma since 2001. His Helsinki-based work includes furniture development and interiors for corporate and public clients.
