LaPalma Cut is Francesco Rota’s chair family with curved Baydur polyurethane shells and integrated sides.
Front-only or full upholstery changes the balance between the exposed shell and padded seat. Fixed sled or wood-leg versions sit alongside swivel trestles and mobile aluminum bases. Selected caster versions adjust from 42 to 52 cm, while other models keep a fixed seat height, adapting the same shell to dining, meeting and desk positions.
Francesco Rota is a Milan-based product and interior designer. He graduated from Art Center College of Design in Switzerland in 1994 and opened his studio in 1998. His work spans furniture, lighting and interior spaces. He became LaPalma's creative director in 2013.
