Dining tables and home bar furniture.
LaPalma Brunch includes modular tables by Romano Marcato with tops that curve down into an end support.
Honeycomb-board construction and internal plywood framing create the changing thickness, balanced by open metal supports. Straight, branching and sinuous arrangements come in dining, counter and standing heights. The Wave connecting element joins high and low sections, letting a continuous table composition accommodate different working or gathering positions along its length.
Romano Marcato trained in mechanical engineering and worked on precision production systems before founding LaPalma with his brother Dario in 1979. His work connects furniture design with product engineering and manufacturing. Designs for LaPalma include the Brunch and Panco tables, Wil stool and Aria chair.
