LaPalma Arco includes swivel chairs by Francesco Rota with curved plywood seats and backs separated by an open gap.
Some versions expose the wood back alongside a padded seat; others are fully upholstered. Solid-wood legs provide a stationary footprint, while aluminum caster bases add mobility. The adjustable office version changes seat height from 43 to 53 cm, extending the same curved seating design from dining and meetings to desk use.
Francesco Rota is a Milan-based product and interior designer. He graduated from Art Center College of Design in Switzerland in 1994 and opened his studio in 1998. His work spans furniture, lighting and interior spaces. He became LaPalma's creative director in 2013.
